To help users find and purchase tickets for events, TikTok has partnered up with Ticketmaster. To link to relevant Ticketmaster events, creators such as musicians, comedians, sports teams, and venues can use the Ticketmaster event finder. The capability is only available to a few creators initially, but this number will grow over time.

Usher, the Backstreet Boys, Usher, Demi Lovato, OneRepublic, and WWE are just some celebrities who can take advantage of this feature at the jump. There will be an event link in the lower left corner of the screen. To purchase a ticket, users can use an in-app browser.

Event organizers and creators can access a wider audience of potential ticket purchasers thanks to Ticketmaster’s cooperation with TikTok, the company claims. The Ticketmaster Mini app for Snapchat was also released in February to help its customers find events.

TikTok may be developing its music streaming service, according to reports that surfaced earlier this week. Users of the TikTok Music service could “buy music, songs, and albums… live stream audio and video… edit and upload images as the cover of playlists… [and] comment on music, songs, and albums,” a trademark filing stated.
