  1. Open Contacts.

By opening the Phone app, touching Contacts, and selecting Groups in the upper-left corner, you can see your contact groups on your iPhone.

How to Email Your Contact Group on an iPhone

  1. Open the Mail app on your iPhone.
  2. Start a new draft by tapping the new email icon in the lower right corner.
  3. In the To: field, type the name of the contact group you want to email. Tap the group name.
  4. Compose your email and send.

How to Create a Group on iPhone for Texting

Texting and emailing groups of iPhone contacts used to be possible, but that feature is no longer available.

To make it easier to identify and message a specific contact group, the Messages app lets you establish a group text, give it an appropriate name, and then pin the chat to the top of the app.
