Is Grammarly Worth It? For Students and Bloggers in 2024

Please join me in sharing my thoughts on Grammarly, one of the most effective tools for writers, programmers, and students who want to use proper English without stumbling over grammar and spelling errors. Thanks for reading!

This is an informal review of Grammarly, both the free and the premium editions, in which I will highlight the most important features and help you decide whether or not you should use Grammarly for your writing.

While I’ve written over 1000 articles on Java, Programming, and Technology since 2010, I didn’t go into much detail regarding blogging.

I’ve chosen to start a series of entries about my blogging experiences in response to reader requests for advice on how to start a blog, what I’ve learned from the process, and what a programmer can do to improve their career financial security.

In this article, I’ll show you how to use Grammarly, a piece of software that can greatly improve your writing. Spelling and grammar issues are fixed, but the tool also delivers valuable information regarding your piece’s readability, engagement, clarity and delivery.

That’s not all; it also improves the quality of your lesson or blog article by changing the word choice and sentence structure. Grammarly is a must-have for bloggers and writers, and I love it for that reason.

Blogging and writing articles were not simply because I wanted to learn more about Java. It is always a struggle to write content that is both instructive and entertaining, and I was concerned about what people would think of my writing.

My English and writing skills were not at their best during my first few years at university. It was awkward to keep blurring between then and then, or occasionally and sometimes, despite my content being technical and to-the-point.

There were a few spelling and grammar mistakes, but I had improved because of the lack of a proofreader and the inadequate tools at my disposal.

There are no more grammatical and spelling errors in my article because of Grammarly. In addition to improving my writing, Grammarly helped me strengthen my post’s quality.

There are fewer grammatical mistakes now than before, and the article’s readability has increased significantly. So, if you’re a blogger or writer who isn’t fluent in English, I highly recommend using Grammarly.

Is Grammarly Worth It – My Experience

Grammarly has been around for a long time, but I only recently began using it. I’m sorry for being late, but it’s better to be late than never.

I couldn’t use many programs to check for spelling and grammar because I wrote most of my articles on a Notepad. For formatting my essay on blogger, I relied on my eyes and browser’s help, which was inadequate for me.

When I started blogging, I tried writing in Microsoft Word but ran into many problems, like how slow it was. The simplicity and speed of Notepad, on the other hand, are what I prefer.

After discovering Grammarly’s Chrome extension, I immediately began using their free service and saw a significant improvement in the readability of my writings, with fewer or no Grammer mistakes.

Grammarly provides immediate feedback, but I’ve never taken anything at face value and always go through the process one step at a time.

Grammarly’s free version was fantastic, and I can honestly say no other free tool has been as valuable as Grammarly.

They graciously provide so much support for free, but after I started using their premium service, I realized just how much I was missing out on as a blogger and writer.

What is Grammarly Premium? Is it Worth it in 2022?

Checks for grammatical faults and provides ideas for vocabulary enrichment and plagiarism detection, with Grammarly Premium’s 400+ checks and features. It’s a lot cheaper than hiring a professional proofreader.

Grammarly is the best spelling and writing tool for bloggers in my experience as a prolific writer with over 3,000 pieces to my credit. There are sensible ideas for improving the text and simple corrections for your dumb spelling and punctuation errors.

Breaking up a large paragraph into smaller, easier-to-read paragraphs is one example of a recommendation that has had a good impact on my site’s user experience.

Suppose you want to know more about your material’s tone of voice. In that case, Grammarly premium combines Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to provide you with more valuable insights and suggestions, like whether your content is aimed at a specific audience and whether it’s appropriate for that audience. Together with the entire story’s impact score.

Even in 2022, all of Grammarly’s additional features make the premium service worthwhile. As a Grammarly user, I just paid $49 to get a 50% discount on my annual subscription and use it daily.

What is the Cost of Grammarly Premium?

Grammarly Premium is available for a monthly subscription price of around $29.95 per month. Still, their quarterly subscription is available for a monthly cost of $19.98 but is invoiced as a single payment of $59.95.

I use the Grammarly Premium annual subscription, which only costs $11.66 per month and is invoiced as a single payment of $139.95, so you won’t have to worry about making payments every month.

It is worth the fee they charge, and every blogger and writer ought to utilize it for their work because of its usefulness.

Does Grammarly help with SEO and Search Ranking?

Using Grammarly may or may not increase the search ranking of your articles, but there is no definitive answer to this question. However, based on my experience, I can claim that using Grammarly improves search ranking.

I have extensively used Grammarly to write new articles and update my previous articles; following the update, both sets of articles performed significantly better.

If you think you understand, it’s also because Grammarly not only helps you fix all of the grammar and spelling mistakes you make, but it also enables you to add synonyms in place of repeated keywords, which means that more related keywords are inserted into your article.

If you think you understand, it’s also because Grammarly helps you fix all of the grammar and spelling mistakes you make.

Your article or blog post will be easier to read due to this technique, which also assists you in reducing the length of your sentences so that they are written in simpler and shorter lines.

Because of the article’s better readability, the reader will stay on your website for a more extended period, and there is a greater possibility that the reader will not only read the article in its entirety but will also read other articles on your website.

This increased involvement signals to Google that your website or blog is worthwhile and that visitors like it, which implies that your material will have a better search ranking overall.

Is Paying for Grammarly Worth it in 2024?

Absolutely. Investing in Grammarly is worth it. In addition to saving you from humiliating mistakes like mine, it also improves your writing and vocabulary abilities.

It’s also a great online English teacher. So far, I’ve learned how never to miss an article and which words have the greatest impact.

Grammarly is a must-have tool for bloggers, writers, and anyone who has to write in front of an audience.

How to get the most out of Grammarly?

When using Grammarly, you should first install the Grammarly browser plugin (it’s completely free!).

WordPress, Blogger, and other content management systems work with it, but not everything (like Google Suite). This is a good thing for bloggers.

After installing the browser extension, your posts will be marked as incorrect by Grammarly as soon as you write them into your WordPress or Blogger editor. It will also point out mistakes and ideas while composing emails, social media posts, and more.

The Grammarly app also allows you to type directly into it. Grammarly for Microsoft Office integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, so making corrections is as simple as clicking a button.

This is the end of my Grammarly review, and I hope you found it helpful. It’s an indispensable tool for any blogger or writer who takes their craft seriously. It’s not just the world’s most excellent automated Grammar Checker but also your writing assistant, online proofreader, and English tutor.

Grammarly is a must-have tool for any blogger to improve one’s writing. It’s free. If you only have a few minutes right now, sign up for Grammarly and start writing better immediately.
